Podcast Guidelines
Any podcast produced will be a public access podcast, which means it is available to the public. Institutional Web Management will have access to all podcasts and their episodes. This is for review, maintenance and support purposes. We reserve the right to reject or remove podcasts if the material is questionable, or violates any College policy or procedure or U.S. law.
Individuals or groups within Baylor College of Medicine are not allowed to create and upload audio or video podcasts for public consumption using Baylor resources, personnel, money, time, equipment or branding without first getting approval from Institutional Web Management.
All podcasts must meet the following criteria:
- Audio Format: MP3
- Data Rate: 128 kbits/sec
- Channels: Stereo
- Output Sample Rate: 44.100 kHz
Any podcast submitted that does not meet the criteria will be rejected immediately.
All Baylor podcasts will have artwork approved by the Institutional Web Management. Artwork should be 3,000 x 3,000 pixels and be a JPG or GIF file.
If the image does not meet standards, violates intellectual property or copyright laws, or is not submitted, the artwork will be the main Baylor block logo.
