In men, can lead to swollen or tender testicles as well as more frequent urination. Overall, the symptoms may be mild or never appear.
Can damage joints, heart, brain. Can cause skin disease, arthritis and blindness, infertility. In women, can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), causing problems with pregnancy.
Gonorrhea can be cured with antibiotics, but damage may be permanent.
