If users access the site away from campus (like from home), then they need to be on VPN (Choose Group: ERC). Baylor College of Medicine’s VPN solution allows employees/students who are connected to the Internet through their own private connection (DSL, cable modem, AT&T U-verse, etc.) to access BCM computing resources as if they were physically connected to Baylor’s network. |
n order to use a VPN connection, you will be required to install and configure the VPN software on the computer that you will be using to remotely connect to the Baylor network. BCM Office of Information Technology provides the VPN software client and the instructions to download and install it.
