Point-of Care Videos

A strong provider recommendation is the primary factor influencing parents’/caregivers’ decision to vaccinate their children against human papillomavirus (HPV), the virus that causes several cancers, including cervical and head and neck cancer.

Parents/caregivers are given the opportunity to watch the brief videos in the exam room, before seeing their provider. The videos are available in English and Spanish and target families of children of two age groups: 11-12 year olds and 13-18 year olds. These videos were developed by the Community Network for Cancer Prevention (CNCP) to prepare parents/caregivers of vaccine-age children eligible to receive a strong HPV vaccine recommendation from their provider.

Please join the Cernan, Williams, and Hernandez families as they “choose to put their family’s health over everything else.” These videos can be viewed online.
