Our comprehensive research infrastructure includes research coordinators and assistants, laboratory management and technicians, postdoctoral fellows, associates and visiting scholars, research administrative personnel, and a dedicated biostatistician. Together, these research professionals support approximately $42M in research funding FY2013 to the present day. The depth of cross-coverage and collective strengths of our staff allow for easy and productive synergy with our remarkable faculty investigators.
Our multifaceted team systematically directs a selection of investigative projects, including high-risk pregnancies, infertility and family planning, gynecologic tumors, management of endometriosis and menopause, and many more. Department investigative faculty, trainees, and learners are well-matched with versatile, driven staff who are conscientious of patient needs.
The nature of research ingenuity requires mutual accountability and proactive, continuous communication to maintain preparedness for the ever-changing landscape of science and medicine. In the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine, it is our highest priority as professionals to uphold a safe and sound environment for pioneering research.
