The Texas Educator’s Academies Collaborative for Health Professions Southeast will hold its Annual Educational Symposium on May 14, 2021, on Educator Identities in the New Healthcare Environment. This event will provide a forum for showcasing scholarly innovations of the regional community of educators. It is a daylong event with a plenary speaker, workshops, small group discussions, and oral and poster presentations.

We invite you to submit an abstract by March 29, 2021. If you submitted an abstract to last year’s conference, which was canceled due to COVID-19, we invite you to resubmit your abstract for consideration.
You will be contacted by a representative of the selection committee regarding acceptance no later than April 16, 2021.
This year, we welcome Dr. Neil Osheroff from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine who will give the Keynote Address in the morning: Integration across the Medical Curriculum: How clinicians and scientists can work together to educate the next generation of professionals and the Keynote Workshop in the afternoon: Who are you? Effects of changing educational roles on faculty identity.
