NanoString technology is a direct digital detection system, which enables targeted multiplex analysis of RNA and DNA that does not require amplification or enzymology. It can simultaneously analyze from 20-800 genes or gene loci from small samples including tissue, blood, FFPE and single cells. Sample types include total RNA, mRNA, miRNA, lncRNAs, RNA prepared by RIP and DNA enriched from chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) as an alternative to ChIP-Seq.
